Zakat and Income Department Revenues Total SR 23.5 Billion in 2012, Hike By 18%

Department of Zakat and Income, an affiliate of the Ministry of Finance, announced today that its revenues amounted to SR 23.5 billion in the fiscal year 1433/1434 AH ( 2012 AD), registering a hike of 18% from revenues of the previous fiscal year.
In a press release issued here this morning, the Department attributed the increase in revenues to several factors among which are the expansion of economic activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the efforts to develop work procedures and follow-up by the Department.
