US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was released Wednesday from a New York City hospital, dpa quoted the State Department as saying late Wednesday. Clinton had been hospitalized since Sunday for treatment of a blood clot, and "her medical team advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts, and they are confident she will make a full recovery," Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Philippe Reines said. He described her as "eager to get back to the office," with her immediate work schedule to be clarified in the coming days.
