Border Guards In Jazan Abort Numerous Smuggling Operations

Border Patrol in Jazan foiled during the past two weeks a number of smuggling operations and infiltrations at border sectors.
The Border Guard media spokesman in Jazan Colonel Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mahfouz said the seizures included "41" assorted weapons, "14" live ammunition, "106,664" kilograms of Qatt and "597" kilograms of hashish.
These seizures also included "8,188" infiltrators; "238" smugglers; the amount of SR 1,191,159"; "3,132" kilograms of fireworks; "387" kilograms of the inhaler-substance "Shamah", "1,580" kilograms of foodstuffs and "4,071" heads of cattle.
