Minister of Culture and Information Approves Formation of Council of Press Institutions

Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Mohieddin Khoja has approved the establishment of the Council of Press Institutions and its associated law, marking the launch of the work of the Council, which includes in its membership press institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Council consists of Director Generals of the institutions and it will be based in the city of Riyadh.
The Minister of Culture and Information congratulated the Director Generals on this occasion and hailed this step.
The Director Generals of the institutions thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Dr. Khoja and Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Internal Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salih Ala'qail for their support for the press.
