AlQa'dah 23, 1433, Oct 9, 2012, SPA -- Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja delivered a speech at the beginning of the 20th meeting of the Ministers of Information of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States which began earlier today in Riyadh. The minister's speech focused on the importance of the media and called for accuracy in coverage of events. The Minister of Culture and Information reviewed issues on the agenda of the meeting such as the work of the Executive Committee in charge of activating the media strategy of the GCC and proposals for boosting joint media work of the GCC. Later, the meeting discussed issues concerning joint GCC media work. The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Foreign Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salih bin Salamah, Director General of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein and other senior officials of the ministry.
