Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Arrives in Tabuk Region

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi arrived here today to inspect gas and oil works conducted by the ministry and Saudi Aramco in the region.
Upon his arrival at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Airport, Al-Naimi made a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in which he said that the discovery of oil fields in Tabuk Region would enhance the Kingdom's prosperity.
He also pointed out that the discovered oil fields will be developed to support domestic consumption of gas, adding that Madian Gas Field will be developed in 2013 to provide power plants with gas.
