MINISTER OF PETROLEUM AND MINERAL RESOURCES ENG. ALI AL-NAIMI SAID SAUDI ARAMCO HAS SUCCESSFULLY DISCOVERED A NEW OIL FIELD SOUTH EAST OF AL-GHAWAR FIELD IN THE EASTERN REGION.
IN A STATEMENT TO SPA, HE NOTED THAT PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY OF THE NEW OIL FIELD MIGHT EXCEED 3915 BARREL IN ADDITION TO 11.9 MILLION CUBIC FEET OF GAS PER DAY.
