The independent and standing human rights commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held here on Sunday a meeting of its members. The meeting prepared for the third session of the commission to be held in Saudi Arabia in the month of February. The meeting discussed human rights in Palestine and the occupied Arab territories. Participants decided to raise these issues at the international level. The Commission looked at women's rights' issues in the Muslim world and their right to education and development and incitement of hatred and violence based on religious differentiation. The meeting decided to post a representative of the commission at the meeting of experts to be convened by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul on January 7, 2013, to discuss the possible legal ways to combat the phenomenon of discrimination against Muslims in the West.
