The Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned at the end of its 39th meeting in Djibouti yesterday the call for hatred based on religion that constitutes incitement to discrimination and violence in the media or internet or any other means. The Council welcomed the efforts exerted by the OIC Secretary General, Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, in working constructively with decision-makers especially in the West to combat the phenomenon of Islamophobia aiming to create international environment conducive to harmony among followers of religions and civilizations.
