After several light earthquakes, thousands of residents in Georgia's coastal cities of Batumi, Poti, Kobuleti and Kutaissi have fled their homes, local media reported Wednesday. According to dpa, several earthquakes of magnitudes up 5.7 have occurred in the Caucasus region since Sunday. There have been no reports of injuries.
