Following his departure from Manama, Bahrain, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, sent a cable of thanks to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, where he led the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the two-day 33rd session of the GCC Supreme Council which concluded in Manama, today. Following is the text of the cable: "His Majesty dear brother King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa King of the Kingdom of Bahrain Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you, As I leave our second country: the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, it gives me a great pleasure to express to Your Majesty, your Government and the brotherly Bahraini people my deep thanks and gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to us, as expected, by Your Majesty and the brotherly people of Bahrain. I would also like to praise the efforts exerted by Your Majesty which widely contributed to the positive results reached by the summit, an outcome that we believe would push the march of the GCC towards adopting the proposal of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to move from the phase of cooperation to the phase of union. I avail myself of this opportunity to laud the distinguished relations shared by our two countries under the close interst and care of both the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Your Majesty. Let me appeal to Allah Almighty to help the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC to realize the required prosperity and progress of our peoples and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations, wishing Your Majesty continuous health and happiness and the Bahriani people steady progress and prosperity under your prudent leadership.
