The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a written message to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain dealing with the distinguished historic and fraternal relations existing between the two friendly countries and peoples in addition to the latest developments at the regional and Arab arenas. The message was delivered to His Majesty by Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, during an audience held for Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz at His Majesty's Al-Safriya palace in Manama this evening. At the outset of the audience, His Majesty welcomed Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, expressing pride of the firm fraternal ties binding the two sisterly countries and the joint cooperation and coordination that resulted in steady progress between them. For his part, His Majesty sent greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, wishing the Saudi people steady progress and prosperity under his prudent leadership. Then His Majesty gave a Ramadan breakfast (Iftar) in honor of visiting Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz. The banquet was attended by Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister; Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Commander-in-chief of the armed forces; and a number of senior members of the ruling family in Bahrain.
