Death Toll from Recent Kenyan Village Massacre Hits 41

The death toll from the latest bout of inter-tribal violence in the Tana River delta region of Kenya's restive coast has risen to 41, the Red Cross said Saturday.
"Tensions are still high, but the situation is calm," the aid group said on its website, adding that 35 injured people were evacuated to a hospital in the resort town of Malindi, according to dpa.
