A senior minister in Pakistan's north-western Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province was seriously injured on Saturday in a suspected suicide bombing which killed at least six people, officials and news reports said. According to dpa, the powerful blast took place at a rally of the Awami National Party (ANP) in the provincial capital Peshawar. "Bashir Ahmed Bilour has sustained serious injuries and he is in the operation theatre," Arshad Javed, head of the Lady Reading hospital, told Geo News television channel. Bilour's secretary and a senior police officer were among the dead, police said. At least 18 people were also injured in the blast.
