The Kingdom of Bahrain will host in Manama on December 24-25, 2012, the 33rd session of the Supreme Council of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States. The GCC Secretary General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani pointed out in a statement today that the session will be held under extreme sensitive conditions and circumstances that require the discussion of their repercussions on the GCC march of cooperation regarding civilization achievements and many accomplishments in all fields for the interest of the GCC peoples. He said that the GCC Foreign Ministers will hold on December 23, their supplementary meeting to prepare the agenda of the session. Dr. Al Zayani praised important and effective roles played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the presidency of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the current session of the GCC Supreme Council. "These roles have contributed to advancing the joint march of the GCC and achieving its numerous accomplishments," he said.
