Four South Korean workers and a Nigerian national were abducted from a South Korean firm's construction site in Nigeria, UPI cited South Korean government officials as saying. An unidentified armed group in a boat broke into a compound operated by Hyundai Heavy Industries Monday afternoon at Brass Island in the Nigerian state of Bayelsa, abducted the four and two Nigerian colleagues, the Yonhap news agency reported. One Nigerian was ordered off the boat and returned to the construction site, a South Korean foreign ministry official said. "No contact has been made yet from the kidnappers. We are closely cooperating with local police," the unnamed official said.
