Romania's president Traian Basescu has reappointed the prime minister to his post. Traian Basescu on Monday said he had designated Victor Ponta as prime minister after Ponta's center-left governing alliance won some 68 percent of seats in Dec. 9 parliamentary elections. Ponta is Romania's third prime minister this year, according to a report of the Associated Press.
