U.S. President Barack Obama has said that he has accepted U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice's decision to withdraw her name from consideration to replace Hillary Clinton as secretary of state. The president said on Thursday that Rice will continue to serve as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
