Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived Monday in Ankara on a three-day official visit during which he will meet several Turkish senior officials. President Abbas is scheduled to meet with his Turkish counterpart President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Erdogan and a number of senior Turkish officials. The Palestinian President will also address the Turkish parliament in Ankara and attend a ceremony held by the embassy of the state of Palestine in Turkey in honor of the great efforts made by Turkey to support the Palestinian bid at the United Nations General Assembly as well as the vote in favor of Palestine, according to a report of Palestine News and Information Agency "WAFA."
