Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) inaugurated here yesterday the 2nd National Architectural Heritage Forum in the presence of Prince Jelawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice Governor of Eastern Region. Upon arrival at the venue, Prince Sultan bin Salman opened an exhibition held on the sidelines of the forum. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Prince Sultan bin Salman commended the roles of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his interest in heritage, noting that the King was the founder of Janadriyah National Festival for Heritage and Culture, in addition to his great roles in highlighting Saudi heritage in all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Prince announced that Madinah will host the next session of the forum in conjunction with its selection as Islamic Cultural Capital for the year 2013.
