King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Intonation and Interpretation concluded its 34th session at the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah yesterday. The closing ceremony was attended by the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and President of Council of Senior Scholars and General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance Dr. Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, President General of the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al- Sudais, Tunisian Minister of Religious Affairs Dr. Noureddine Mukhtar Alkhadami, and a number of scholars. The ceremony was also attended by 25 winners of the contest, and as many as 164 contestants from 73 countries who took part in it.
