Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the 34th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Intonation and Interpretation started at the Holy Grand Mosque in Makkah today. Addressing the opening ceremony, the Chairman of Jury Committee, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saeed Al-Dosari, expressed his thanks to the King and the Crown Prince for their constant care for the Holy Quran; and he thanked the Ministry of Islamic Affairs Endowments, Call and Guidance for organizing the competition. As many as 164 contestants from 53 countries and Islamic associations, institutes, and centers are taking part in the competition.
