Saudi Archeological Masterpieces through the Ages Exhibition at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington has attracted many visitors since the first day of its opening to the public. The visitors expressed their pleasure and appreciation of the cultural activities at the exhibition. The exhibition presents more than 320 relics which have been carefully selected from several locations, such as the National Museum in Riyadh, King Saud University Museum, King Fahd National Library, King Faisal Center for Islamic Research and Studies and the King Abdulaziz Library in Al-Madina, in addition to a number of relics found during the latest excavations in the Kingdom. The relics of this exhibition will cover a period from the Stone Age (One million years BC) to the establishment of the modern Saudi State.
