The fourth session of the Joint Saudi-Philippine Committee began this morning at the Conferences Palace in Riyadh. The session was co-chaired by the Governor of the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training (GOTEVOT), Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghufais and Under Secretary of State for Policy of the Republic of the Philippines Arlinda Basilo. Dr.Al-Ghufais welcomed the Filipino delegation at the session, noting that the joint committee is embodiment of the friendly ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of the Philippines. "Moreover, the Committee focuses on promotion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields under the leaderships of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and President of the Republic of the Philippines, Benigno Simeon Aquino.
