A delegation of Arab Foreign Ministers, led by the Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi, left Cairo today heading for Gaza to have a close eye on the situation there. The delegation includes Dr. Nizar bin Obeid Madani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Mohammed Kamel Amr, Egypt's Foreign Minister; Riyadh Al-Malki, Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs; Rafiq Abdulsalam, Tunisia's Foreign Affairs; Hoshyar Zebari, Iraqi Foreign Minister; Ali Karti, Sudan's Foreign Minister; Adnan Mansour, Lebanon's Foreign Minister and Nasser Jodah, Foreign Minister of Jordan. In Al-Areesh, Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Daud Oglu and the accompanying delegation and Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Khalid Al-Atiyyah and the accompanying delegation, joined the delegation coming from Cairo. The visit comes in implementation of an Arab League resolution two days ago to send a foreign-minister level to Gaza in solidarity with the steadfast of the people of Palestine in the face of Israeli aggression. Dr. Madani is accompanied by Saudi ambassador to Egypt Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan, who is also his country's permanent representative to the AL.
