AlHijjah 27, 1433, Nov 12, 2012, SPA - An Afghan delegation planned to visit Pakistan on Monday to discuss peace and reconciliation efforts, officials said. "Twelve people from the High Peace Council are going to Pakistan to discuss Afghan reconciliation. The delegation comprises of different political factions and is led by chairman Salahuddin Rabbani," Council official Amin Muzafari told DPA. "The three-day visit was organized some six months ago. The leadership plans to ask Pakistan to provide an opportunity to those opposition leaders (the Taliban) who want to join the peace process, and to remove obstacles for their travel," Muzafari said.
