Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques undergoes back surgery next week, Royal Court reports

AlHijjah 26, 1433, November 11, 2012, SPA -- The Royal Court issued today the following statement : "in continuation of the medical tests the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is undergoing, some laxity has been detected at the conjoining cord in the upper back. Accordingly, doctors have decided to perform a surgery for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to treat the looseness. The surgery will be performed, with the grace of Allah Almighty, next week at King Abdulaziz Medical City for National Guard in the city of Riyadh.
God protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques against any harm and clothe him with the cover of health".
