AlHijjah 26, 1433, Nov 11, 2012, SPA - Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich arrived Sunday in Dhaka for a visit meant to boost economic links between Belarus and Bangladesh. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed received her counterpart at Dhaka airport at the start of his three-day visit. Bangladesh and Belarus were to sign cooperation agreements on trade, agriculture and science and technology with the aim of boosting trade from $89 million a year now, officials were quoted as saying by DPA. The two premiers were also set to witness the signing of agreements on the promotion and mutual protection of investments, and on easing some visa rules. Myasnikovich will also meet President Zillur Rahman and business leaders, visit a pharmaceutical plant near the capital and deliver a speech at Dhaka University before he leaves on Tuesday.
