AlHijjah 22, 1433, Nov 7, 2012, SPA -- Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held here today a meeting with the Moroccan Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. In a statement following the meeting, the ministers stressed that this meeting came upon directives of the GCC and Moroccan leaders to establish strategic partnership between the two sides. The meeting also lauded the visit paid by the Moroccan King Mohammed VI to the GCC states which reflected the Moroccan King's keenness to develop distinguished relations among Morocco and the GCC states. "Upon continuing consultations and discussions among the Kingdom of Morocco and the GCC States, the discussions which took place among the Foreign Ministers in their joint ministerial meeting reflected identical viewpoints towards regional and international issues of common interest," the statement added. --More
