AlHijjah 22, 1433, November 07, 2012, SPA -- The GCC Ministerial Council condemned today the terrorist bombings that took place in Manama, November 5 which claimed the lives of several innocent people. In a statement issued today, the council extended its condolences to the leadership, the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain and families of the deceased, wishing survivors a speedy recovery. The council lauded the ability of the kingdom's security bodies to deal with this situation. Moreover, the council renewed its full support for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people in their efforts aiming at preserving its national unity, security and stability and protection of both people's lives and property. It also affirmed that the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain is an integral part of the GCC member countries security, refuting all types of terrorist activities. The council called upon the unification of efforts towards combating terrorism.
