First UITP MENA Public Transport and Large Events Summit Starts in Doha

AlHijjah 21, 1433, Nov 6, 2012, SPA -- The First Summit of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) MENA Public Transport and Large Events was held here today under the theme of "Intelligent Traffic Solutions for Large Events." The summit was attended by Qatari Minister of State for Internal Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The Saudi delegation to the summit was led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation for Transport Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Ohali.
More than 500 experts specialized in the field of transport are participating in the summit which will discussed several topics on intelligent transportation.
