AlHijjah 26, 1432, Nov 22, 2011, SPA - Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, received at the chancery here on Monday evening, the Saudi delegation participating in the meetings of the Executive Council of International Maritime Organization. During the meeting, the Ambassador was briefed on the topics of discussion at the Executive Council which began yesterday, stressing that Saudi Arabia's participation in international meetings is an important matter due to the position enjoyed by Saudi Arabia at international arenas in international organizations. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Transport Affairs and Head of the Saudi Delegation, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al-Ohali pointed out that Saudi Arabia is a candidate for the fifth time for the membership of the Council, expressing his thanks to and appreciation of the Ambassador for his efforts as well as the Embassy in mobilizing support for the re-election of Saudi Arabia to the Council.
