AlHijjah 21, 1433, Nov 6, 2012, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace in Jeddah today visiting British Prime Minister David Cameron. Then the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the British Prime Minister held a meeting. At the outset of the meeting, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud decorated British Prime Minister David Cameron with King Abdulaziz Sash of the First Class, traditionally granted to their Highnesses, their Excellencies, Prime Ministers, Heirs Apparent of sisterly and friendly countries. For his part, Britain's Prime Minister expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for decorating him with the honorable sash, expressing pride of this honor. He conveyed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the greetings and appreciation of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. In turn, the monarch sent his greetings and appreciation to Her Majesty. Then, they discussed the overall incidents and developments at the regional and international arenas, topped by the Palestinian issue and the situation in Syria. They also discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields in a way that benefits the two countries and peoples. The meeting and the decoration ceremony were attended by Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Saud Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Foreign Minister; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence and Secretary General of the National Security Council; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Commander of the National Guard; Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; and Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Foreign Minister. On the British side, the events were attended by Philip Hammond, Defense Secretary; John Jenkins, British ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sir Kim Darosh, Advisor of the National Security; Edward Leolin, Chief of Staff at Downing Street; John Kasson, Special Secretary to the Prime Minister; and Ruddick Drummond, Deputy Chief of the British Diplomatic Mission in Riyadh.
