AlHijjah 21, 1433, Nov 6, 2012, SPA -- Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic of Yemen, met in Sanaa today with the 10-member sponsor countries group of GCC initiative on Yemen crisis, including the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Ali bin Mohammed Al-Hamdan. The meeting reviewed the progress of implementing the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism and the Security Council's resolutions No. 2014 and 2051. Addressing the meeting, Al-Hamdan said Yemeni authorities have so far succeeded in coming out of the impasse. He called on All Yemeni political and social forces in Yemen to work hard to make the initiative and its executive mechanism a success. For his part, Hadi denied there is any maneuver in his country to foil the peaceful process and confuse the political scene in Yemen, reiterating that the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism will remain the only secure solution to a safe, stable and secure country. He also called on political factions in his country to continue the march of solidarity to make the initiative a success through offering compromise and accepting other opinion at the forthcoming National Dialogue Conference. He announced that 90 percent of the preparation for holding a successful conference was scored, however the Preparatory Panel was given more time for preparation for the conference, he added.
