AlHijjah 20, 1433, Nov 5, 2012, SPA -- The Ministry of Health has assured Saudi citizens and expatriates in the Kingdom that Corona virus does not pose any danger in the country. In a press conference held here today, Dr. Ziad Mimash, Undersecretary of Health Ministry for Public Health and Chairman of National Scientific Committee for Infectious Diseases, said the Ministry confirmed that no transmission of the virus from a person to another was reported, stressing the number of infected people in the world is not more than three cases. He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has coordinated with international health commissions and the World Health Organization (WHO) to follow-up the latest developments on all viruses at the health arena, pointing out that the Ministry of Health has set up a national committee, including specialized consultants representing all health sectors in this field.
