AlHijjah 16, 1433, Nov 1, 2012, SPA -U.S. President Barack Obama said Wednesday that the biggest priority in the rebuilding effort in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy is to restore electricity to millions of Americans on the East Coast. "Our biggest priority right now is getting power turned back on," Obama told reporters after surveying the storm damage in New Jersey with Governor Chris Christie. "We are here for you and we will not forget, we will follow up to make sure you get all the help you need until you rebuild." The president and governor met with rescue workers and residents in Atlantic City and surveyed the damage from a helicopter. Obama urged patience and cautioned that problems caused by the storm would not be solved "overnight." He said the U.S. government was working with state and local officials closely in the clean-up efforts.
