AlHijjah 15, 1433, Oct 31, 2012, SPA - A Five-day "Indian Cultural Week" hosted by King Fahd Cultural Center, will open in Riyadh on Saturday evening under the auspices of the Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja. The official spokesman for the Cultural Affairs at the agency for Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information, Mohammed Abes said the Week's events include an exhibition of Fine Arts, pictures of landmark monuments in India, in addition to four Folklore teams representing different Indian regions. In a statement on this occasion, he said the other program of the Week also includes varied activities that highlight aspects of India's civilization and culture. On the fringe of these events, an "Indian Food Festival 2012," will also be organized at Crown Plaza Hotel in Riyadh. The spokesman also stressed the keenness of the Minister of Culture and Information and his Deputy and the follow-up of Under Secretary for Cultural Affairs, Dr. Nasser Al-Hujailan, on the success of these events aimed at promoting cultural and intellectual relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the friendly Republic of India.
