Turki said priority of moving from Muzdalifah to Mina was given to pedestrians who have no way but to use the main roads, also used by vehicles. To solve this problem and keen of the safety of pilgrims going on foot, the authority barred vehicles from using Souq Al-Arab and Al-Johara roads directly leading to Jamarat from Muzdalifah, allocating them for pedestrians only. He said the plan resulted in free-of-accident and smooth movement of both pedestrians and vehicles from Muzdalifah to Mina. He said it was noted that a few number of pilgrims stayed in the vicinity of Jamarat since last night. The number started to increase gradually until early morning when the crowds rushed to throw Jamrat Al-Aqaba (the grand devil replica).
