Pilgrims Perform Dhuhr and Asr Prayers at Arafat

AlHijjah 9, 1433, Oct 25, 2012, SPA -- Following the example of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), pilgrims arrived early today at Namira Mosque to pray Dhuhr and Asr, combining and shortening their four-unit prayers so as to make them two units each; and to listen to a sermon delivered by Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and President of Council of Senior Scholars and General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh.
Namira Mosque covers a total area of 118,000 square meters.
The prayers and sermon were attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of Central Hajj Committee.
