AlHijjah 5, 1433, Oct 21, 2012, SPA -- Three senior officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were appointed in the Excellent Rank as per a Royal Order issued here today. According to the Royal Order, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has ordered the appointment of Dr. Khaled bin Ibrahim Al-Jandan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations; Dr. Yousef bin Trad Al-Saadoon, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Cultural Relations; and Ali bin Saeed bin Awwadh Assiri, the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon; in the Excellent Rank. The appointment of the three senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was based on a recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Royal Order stated. The statement said the concerned authorities should carry out this order with immediate effect.
