Governor of Makkah opens Makkah 13th Conference

AlHijjah 4, 1433, Oct 20, 2012, SPA -- On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, today opened Makkah 13th Conference, organized by the Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) under the theme "Pillars and Changes in the Muslim Society".
At the venue, he was received by Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, Secretary General of the MWL, his aides and senior officials.
Dr. Isam Al-Basheer, Chairman of Islamic Jurisprudence in Sudan, addressed the gathering on behalf of the participants. He called for addressing the pillars of Islam to pave the way for discussion of the potential changes, confirming that Islam is the religion of tolerance, moderation, justice and humanity.
