AlHijjah 3, 1433, Oct 19, 2012, SPA -- Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member States, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, called the confession of Manssor Arbabsiar, an Iranian-born naturalized American citizen, to be involved in the plot to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to Washington as a serious development that unveiled a foiled criminal conspiracy and its accomplices involved. Dr. Al-Zayani also said this confession is an important step to unveil all the circumstances surrounding the plot, pointing out to the prohibition of all diplomatic laws and norms of targeting diplomats and diplomatic corps as a terrorist act which contravenes with humanitarian ethics and values. -- SPA
