AlHijjah 03, 1433, October 19, 2012, SPA -- A house fire which killed almost an entire Pakistani family in Britain claimed another victim after a 3-year-old girl succumbed to burn injuries, dpa quoted a hospital spokesman as saying Friday. The death means that the children's father, Abdul Shakoor, lost his wife and five children in the fire which devastated their home in Harlow, in the southern county of Essex, Monday. Shakoor, who is a doctor at a local hospital, managed to escape from the home and has been treated for severe smoke inhalation. Police said earlier in the week that they were treating the fire as a suspected arson attack. But on Friday, a spokesman said that while officers were continuing to investigate all possibilities, it was now thought “increasingly likely" that the fire was a "tragic accident."
