Handicapped child dies following fire

A handicapped child died in hospital from smoke inhalation after being rescued by fire services from a fire at his home in the Al-Aziziya District here Friday night. The ten-year-old boy who suffered from mental and physical disabilities escaped burns when a short-circuit caused a fire at the two-story home, but was unable to avoid inhaling poisonous fumes and passed away after being admitted to hospital.
