AlHijjah 1, 1433, Oct 17, 2012, SPA -- In cooperation with the Central Department of Statistics and Information, Saudi Press Agency "SPA" has prepared a lengthy report which highlighted contribution by the department to Hajj statistics. CDSI works throughout the year to develop advanced methods to provide the highest degree of accuracy and comprehensiveness in collecting correct data in the shortest possible time through the use of specialized software. Director General of the CDSI Muhanna bin Abdul-Karim Al-Muhanna said that the CDSI sends a comprehensive report on Hajj statistics to the wise leadership and a number princes and ministers concerned with the work of Hajj in the morning of the tenth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. The Hajj statistics program aims at providing accurate numbers of the domestic pilgrims to form with the numbers of pilgrims coming from abroad the total number of pilgrims. The program's goal is to help future plans in providing necessary services to the pilgrims.
