AlHijjah 1, 1433, Oct 17, 2012, SPA - At least 10 Afghan soldiers were wounded Wednesday in a suicide bombing near an Afghan-NATO military compound in the east of the country, a government official said, according to DPA. "The attacker detonated his explosives-filled car outside the compound in Zormat district, Paktiya province," provincial spokesman Rohullah Samoon said, adding that no deaths were reported. A spokeswoman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), Amy Hession, confirmed the attack and said, "According to our reports, several Afghan soldiers were killed or injured, but no ISAF troops were killed or wounded."
