Delegation of OPEC Fund for International Development Concludes Visit to Sri Lanka

AlQa'dah 24, 1433, Oct 10, 2012, SPA - A delegation of OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), headed by the Fund's Director General Suleiman Jasser Al-Harbash concluded its visit to the Republic of Sri Lanka today.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Harbash said that during the visit, he held talks with Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and a number of senior officials and reviewed the operations of the Fund under implementation, noting that an agreement was signed between the two sides to provide Sri Lanka with a soft loan of $ 40 million to finance a project to improve its transport network.
