AlQa'dah 22, 1433, Oct 8, 2012, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the discussions and contacts that he made with a number of friendly and brotherly countries on aspects of cooperation with those countries in addition to the Kingdom's stances towards a number of current situations at regional and international arenas. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said the cabinet listened to a report on the latest developments in a number of Arab countries, warning from the repercussions of the Syrian crisis and renewing the Kingdom's call for ending all acts of violence and stopping bloodshed and human rights violations in Syria. The Cabinet also condemned the Israeli occupation forces and Israeli extremist groups storming Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the international community to put an end to these violations and prevent Israel from increasing tension in the region. Dr. Khoja said that the Cabinet hailed Lima Declaration issued by the 3rd Summit of the Arab and South American countries in Peru, stressing the contents of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' speech read on his behalf before the summit where the King welcomed that the Kingdom will host 4th session of this summit. The Cabinet expressed thanks to the participants in the scientific symposium on "Initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for Dialogue among Followers of Religions and Civilizations", which was concluded in Kuala Lumpur, who expressed appreciation of the efforts and initiatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in this regard. Then, the Cabinet discussed a number of scientific, economic and cultural activities that took place this week, lauding the 1st International Conference of School Transportation in the Kingdom, which began in Riyadh yesterday under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. --More
