AlQa'dah 21, 1433, Oct 7, 2012, SPA -- The third Arab Conference on Astronomy and Geophysics, organized by the National Institute for Astronomic and Geophysical Research of Egypt, is set to start in Cairo tomorrow. The four-day event will be patronized by the Minister of State for Scientific Research of Egypt Dr. Nadia Zakhari, Secretary General of the Cairo-based Arab League Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi and Egypt's Mufti Dr. Ali Jumaa. Dr. Hatem Odeh, President of the institute, said scientists from seven Arab countries: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Algeria and Libya are certain to take part in the conference in addition to a host of researchers and experts from different countries in the field of astronomy and geophysics.
