AlQa'dah 17, 1433, Oct 3, 2012, SPA -- The joint UN-African Union mission in Sudan's Darfur region on Wednesday condemned "in the strongest terms" the attack that killed four peacekeepers and injured eight others. According to dpa, the mission said a Nigerian military patrol was ambushed about two kilometers from its regional headquarters in El Geneina, in West Darfur on Tuesday. "The mission condemns in the strongest terms this criminal attack on our peacekeepers, who are here in the service of Darfur's people," said Lieutenant General Patrick Nyamvumba, a force commander of the mission. "I call on the government of Sudan to bring the perpetrators to justice."
